We had a gorgeous weekend and our warmest day in nine months - a toasty 79 degrees! And a gorgeous day means a gorgeous sunset...
We sure did enjoy such a beautiful day. When suppertime came around, we both had a craving for steak and baked potatoes, but since we can't grill our own at the apartment we thought of Applebee's. And since it was such a gorgeous evening we thought of a picnic at our local beach. Then we put the two together and decided on Applebee's Carside to Go so we could take it to the beach - perfect!
What a lovely end to a lovely day =)
Okay, so I totally keep forgetting to tell you this....we left the beach from our dinner picnic apparently just before you and D showed up for yours :) It was the day I called and didn't get you and you text later to ask if I needed anything. I didn't respond because we were good. We were actually going to come borrow some silverware because Fortune Cookie didn't pack any with our takeout that night. ha! And we were going to see if you guys might want to join us :) We drove by Jake's slowly to see if we could spot you on the deck and now I know why we didn't see you. We couldn't stick around for sunset...that comes WAY after the boys' bedtime these days.
