The last kiddo loaded the bus for summer on Friday, woohoo!! I love summer break. I also love having a job that really makes me appreciate summer break. School ending on Friday meant that the first official day of this marvelous break was Saturday. Here's how we spent it...
10:30 - Wake up (no more alarm clock, yay!!!)
11:30 - Check out the yard sales in DuPont...we just drove around, too wet to get out and look.
12:30 - Try to have a late breakfast at McNamara's - find out they have turned the griddle off early and breakfast isn't an option...boo...so we head home to get cleaned up
1:30 - All clean and still hungry - Denny's is our best option so that's where we go.
2:30 - Finished with breakfast and on our way to the outlet mall in Auburn, Washington
3:30 - Shopping
4:30 - Shopping
5:30 - Done! And finally on our way home.
6:30 - Stop at the Lakewood Movie Theater to see about tickets for The Green Lantern...all sold out until 9:40. Buy 9:40 tickets and head home.
7:30 - Napping...ahhhh...
8:30 - Quick supper of leftover pizza
9:30 - Back to the movies to see The Green Lantern in 3D
12:30 - Home from the movies and having a superhero debate
1:30 - Still debating, ha! (and very much awake because of the late nap)
2:30 - Finally read to fall asleep
What a great start to summer!! Today I am catching up on laundry and tomorrow I am packing because on Tuesday we are headed for....
